Mexican Sunflower

[Mexican Sunflower picture] Mexican Sunflower, Tithonia rotundifolia, provides nectar for Sulphurs and Black Swallowtails. It germinates in 12 days and grows over a metre high, with 9 cm orange flowers. It is a spectacular background plant. Sunflowers are used to make yellow and brown dyes.
